Welcome new freshers!
A new learning and living environment is bound to raise a host of questions for any new student. Hopefully, these pages will provide answers to at least some of them. Don't hesitate to ask even the silliest-sounding questions to senior academics. Especially the tutors and guild activists will be happy to answer them. There is a lot of good information on the LTKY website, including events in the coming weeks.
A freshers' year is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so make the most of it! Social skills are at least as important in life as the things you learn on the school bench, including in the world of work. But at the same time, you have to remember to keep your studies in mind. Happy freshman year!

Checklist
Joining a club
To join the club, you pay the KRK membership fee, which is a one-off payment, meaning you only pay it once in a lifetime. The membership fee is a modest 20€ and should be paid into account FI93 8146 9710 2387 25 / DABAFIHH. In the message field, write: "Your full name, your municipality (where you are registered), membership fee". This is because the law on associations obliges you to keep a register of members, your data will be treated confidentially. After this step, you will be entitled, among other things, to participate in courses organised by the guild at a reduced price, and you will receive the lovely orange jumpsuits for free!
Email list
It is advisable to join the email list if you want to keep up with internal and external events in the guild easily and effortlessly. Please use only your LUT e-mail address when subscribing to the list, so that your e-mails are delivered safely and you remember to keep track of other important messages.
